The XXI International Scientific Conference “Modern Problems of Agricultural Mechanics” took place at the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture. As we recently reported, this conference is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of KhNTUA, as well as the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous scientist-agrarian Petro Vasylenko, whose name the university bears. The purpose of the conference is to summarize the international and domestic experience in research, development, and implementation of competitive, resource-saving technologies and technical means for the development of agricultural mechanics of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has developed an algorithm for vaccinations against acute respiratory disease COVID-19 for education workers, who are a priority group of protection. Educators involved in the external independent evaluation (EIE) in 2021, at their request, are vaccinated with the CoronaVac vaccine against COVID-19 produced by Sinovac Biotech from April 14. Today celebrates his birthday the chairman of the trade union committee of employees and students of KhNTUA, Ph.D., Viktor Kis. We sincerely congratulate him on the bright anniversary! 60 years is not only experience and years but also respect, merit, and wisdom. We wish Viktor Mykolayovych that the youth of the soul does not go anywhere, that luck in life always smiles, prosperity, joy, and positive inspiration. With optimism to continue the way, and 60 years is not so much, and only-on-only twice on 30. Happily, success to you in professional activity which is exactly 15 years connected with our university because Victor teaches the same amount at the Department of Mechatronics and Machine Parts at the ESI MMS.
Practical training of students is a mandatory component of the educational and professional program for obtaining any degree of higher education. The purpose of practical training of students at our university is to summarize the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge, professional skills, and abilities that form specialists with higher education of the appropriate degree and improve the quality of training of highly qualified specialists.
This year the threshold of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture will be transferred for the first time by more than 900 freshmen (future bachelors), who are enrolled in full-time education on the terms of the state budget and contract. Most of them are students majoring in Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics, Food Technology, and others.
The Conditions of Admission to Higher Education in 2021 define the categories of persons who will have the right to enter a higher education institution based on the results of an interview or the results of entrance exams.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine continues to publish a series of video explanations on the most common issues of concern to prospective students and their parents. The fifth series deals with the priority of applications. Priority indicates the order of consideration of applications for admission submitted by a person. When submitting applications, they should be placed in the order of interest, wherein the first place will be the application submitted for the most desirable bid. The next statement is with lower priority. It is not possible to change the priority after applying.
