Future masters are preparing for the Unified Entrance Exam

The registration of entrants who plan to take the single entrance exam in a foreign language and the single professional entrance exam for admission to study for a master’s degree has been completed. According to the information entered into the Unified State Electronic Database on Education, 664 people registered to compile the EMI in a foreign language and enter the master’s program of the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture.

Practice is an integral part of learning

Theoretical training for first-year students ends with training practice. Thus, in July, applicants for the specialties 101 Ecology, 201 Agronomy, and 208 Agroengineering under the guidance of associate professors of the Department of Agrotechnology and Ecology of the Institute of MMS Olga Chala, Valentina Bezpalko and Oksana Pankova, passed an introductory internship. During this time, students, in addition to classroom classes, where they learned about the practical aspects of agronomy, gained practical skills. Based on the training farm of KhNTUA, they got acquainted with the varieties of crops of the collection nursery and with representatives of weeds on crops, conducted work on field weed research, phenological observations of safflower crops, selected samples of crops, and determined their crop structure. In addition, they got acquainted with the basic technological, physical, and water properties of soils, performed laboratory work to determine the mechanical composition of the soil, the acidity of the soil solution, and more.

THE ZVO REPORTING CAMPAIGN IS ON

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has launched a reporting campaign on the results of the activities of higher education institutions and research institutions for 2020. It will last until April 6, 2021. Reports of higher education institutions and research institutions are presented by vice-rectors for research and directors of research institutions. The XXI International Scientific Conference “Modern Problems of Agricultural Mechanics” took place at the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture. As we recently reported, this conference is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of KhNTUA, as well as the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous scientist-agrarian Petro Vasylenko, whose name the university bears. The purpose of the conference is to summarize the international and domestic experience in research, development, and implementation of competitive, resource-saving technologies and technical means for the development of agricultural mechanics of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
