One of the disciplines of the cycle of professional and practical training, which students majoring in 205 Forestry begin to study in the first year, is “Dendrology”. Therefore, a significant number of issues raised in the educational practice of freshmen, it is related to this discipline.
Today in the assembly hall of the university began a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council of the University, which addressed several important issues. First of all, the members of the Academic Council voted for the presentation of T. Fesenko o the academic title of Professor of Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies and A. Voitov to the academic title of associate professor of the Department of Woodworking Technologies and System Engineering of the Forest Complex.
At the Department of Transport Technologies and Logistics for students of the Faculty of TSL was organized and conducted the first (theoretical) stage of training, production (technological) and accounting and analytical practice, provided by the curriculum of specialty 275 “Transport Technologies”.
Yesterday a new pilot project “Rector’s Field Meeting” was started. The purpose of the project is to analyze the work of the Institute and FTSL, discuss problems on the ground and make constructive decisions. The first meeting chaired by the rector of KhNTUA O. Nanka took place at the в ESI ECT.

Throughout almost all of 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers of the Department of Accounting and Auditing were not able to meet for “live” communication with potential entrants to our university. This period was filled with the development of distance communication with schoolchildren and college students. But it is worth noting that everyone was looking forward to a face-to-face meeting, especially with college students and their teachers – our colleagues, because for many years of cooperation there is a tradition of combining career guidance with training in the form of brain-rings, intellectual competitions, quizzes and more.
The second year of study by marketing students is coming to an end, which is an important stage in the formation of professional competencies of future professionals. The program of practice “Organization of marketing at the enterprise” provides acquaintance of students with the future profession, prospects of development of a specialty, with character, the maintenance, and conditions of the organization of marketing and advertising activity.
Practical training of students is a mandatory component of the educational and professional program for obtaining any degree of higher education. The purpose of practical training of students at our university is to summarize the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge, professional skills, and abilities that form specialists with higher education of the appropriate degree and improve the quality of training of highly qualified specialists.
Traditionally, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism introduces students with the city of Kharkiv, as a center of architectural grandeur, and as a center of theatrical art.
At a seminar I recently attended on the Gender Theory course, a question arose during the discussion that divided the teaching audience. One of the participants, who stated that the theory of gender and feminism is the fate of women and something like their inferiority complex, heard quite harsh statements from others present. However, his “support group” made ironic remarks that the feminist movement in the nineteenth century meant, above all, that women began to smoke, write books and wear trousers, and in everyday life, they sought to relieve themselves of the responsibilities they imposed on their traditional role in a patriarchal society and in which there were a certain meaning and justice. And also that only a woman is allowed to be a feminist, and a man can sympathize the most. But the most interesting thing is that in the end, the opponent who most clearly and meaningfully tried to express the opposite position on this issue was a friend of the same anti-feminist who linked the dispute. He desperately wanted to prove that feminist men had a right to exist. At the same time, the young teacher appealed mainly to the universality of research talent and, most importantly, to the desire of some men to play the role of a woman and the ability to do so very successfully, immersing themselves in their subconscious and secret impulses. The controversy that erupted made me want to summarize my views on this issue, in response to similar statements in similar situations. Moreover, the terms “gender theory” and “feminism” were used by all participants in the discussion as almost identical, and this suggests the need to emphasize this. Probably, this issue can also be useful for discussion in practical classes with students.

Today in the conference hall of KhNTUA a workshop for scientific and pedagogical workers of the Institute of BM on the topic “Access to the collection of Direct Direct” was held, which was conducted by the Deputy Head of the Scientific Library of the University Rybalchenko Olena. She acquainted the seminar participants with scientometric databases and provided recommendations for their completion and use.
As part of the introductory practice, first-year students of the Institute of Mechanotronics and Management Systems of the educational program “Agronomy” (specialty 201 “Agronomy”) acquired practical skills at The Рlant Production Institute named after V.
