2nd-year students majoring in 242 “Tourism” KhNTUSG completed an internship in the discipline “Leisure Organization” and are currently defending reports. As we have already informed, in early March this year delegation of KhNTUA consisting of the rector of the university O. Nanka, Vice-Rector for Research and Education and International Relations Yu. Vitkovskyi and the head of the training department for working with foreign citizens and stateless persons O. Azizov were in Turkey, where she held a series of working meetings with Turkish partners. One of such meetings took place at Istanbul Technical University, where representatives of KhNTUa met with their Turkish counterparts and discussed with them the development of Ukrainian-Turkish scientific-educational cooperation between universities, as well as preparations for the signing of the agreement.
Today, in compliance with all quarantine recommendations, students of our university held a traditional Shrovetide holiday, which symbolizes the farewell of winter and the meeting of spring. In the courtyard of the university, they created an interesting photo area with a stuffed Shrovetide, as well as treated everyone to pancakes and various delicacies. Each educational and scientific institute and faculty of TSL prepared their culinary masterpieces and presentations for this holiday, which were evaluated by an authoritative jury of representatives of the administration. The celebration itself was accompanied by merry songs and dances, which gave everyone a good mood.
For significant personal contribution to the socio-economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and educational development of the Ukrainian state, exemplary performance of official duties, for many years of hard work, and on the occasion of International Women’s Day, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded a group of women state awards and distinctions. At the initiative of the Department of UNESCO “Philosophy of Human Communication” and social sciences and humanities at our university created a local history and tourism research student club “Milky Way”.
