“Kobzar’s voice pours over the world”

On March 9, Ukrainians around the world honor the memory of the great Kobzar, poet, playwright, novelist, artist, thinker – Taras Shevchenko. Taras Shevchenko’s multifaceted work has not lost its relevance for many years. He was a profound lyricist, creator of epic poems, and an outstanding playwright and versatile artist. For Taras Shevchenko’s birthday, the KhNTUSG Scientific Library has prepared a virtual exhibition “Kobzar’s Voice Over the World”, which will introduce you to the anniversary works of the writer “Haidamaki” and “Alphabet of South Russia”.

On March 9 and 10, 2021, the State Institution “Scientific and Methodological Center for Higher and Professional Higher Education” together with VSP “Technological and Economic Vocational College of Bila Tserkva NAU” will hold a literary online marathon in memory of Taras Shevchenko “Let’s unite souls with the word Kobzar!”. The event will be attended by about 600 students of professional higher education institutions and more than 50 teachers, employees from the city of Kyiv, and 24 regions of Ukraine.

The program of the online marathon includes reciting poems by Taras Shevchenko and about Taras Shevchenko, performing his works in different languages, author’s poetry, reading and staging (miniatures) of excerpts from works, musical numbers, thematic exhibitions, and much more.
