The Department of Media Communications of KhNTUA and the Department of Organization of Educational Work of Students summed up today the results of the creative competition for the best student video presentation, which was announced earlier. Under the terms of the competition, students had to show in their videos the diverse and multifaceted life of our university and its educational and research departments, showing a creative approach and creativity.
The annual amateur student competition “Student Spring-2021” was held in the cultural center of the Kyiv district of Kharkiv, which was attended by representatives of almost all institutions of higher education in the city. The Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture was represented at this competition by vocalists Alina Khlaponina, Mykita Danshov, and Alyona Patsyuk, as well as Volodymyr Bolshakov, who works in the original genre of a magician.

The draft professional standard was developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on its own initiative.

In early March this year Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Life Safety and Law, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor V. Zadorozhnya, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor I. Cherepnyov, and Senior Lecturer L. Pereverzeva, following the recommendations of the SES of Ukraine, conducted unscheduled practical classes with students of group 14 P, during which they practiced with them the methods of providing pre-medical care to persons who have received injuries of various origins. The lesson was conducted within the framework of the complex discipline “Life safety, basics of labor protection and civil protection”. During the lesson, the instructors paid special attention to the possibility of using improvised means to stop bleeding and fix fractures of the extremities, as well as the technique of helping a person with loss of consciousness.

In connection with the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in Ukraine caused by the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), guided by the minutes № 7 meetings of the Regional Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies of Kharkiv region and based on the decision of the Academic Council from 22.03.2021 (Minutes № 9) Rector of KhNTUA O. Nanka issued an order on the introduction of distance learning for full-time higher education students from March 22, 2021, to April 30, 2021, and the transfer of research and teaching staff, teaching and support staff of departments and staff of directorates of the Institute / Dean’s Office faculty for remote operation.
