Today, the reception of applications and documents to the University from graduates of secondary schools and colleges, which will last until 18:00 on July 23, 2021, has begun. Applications and documents are submitted in electronic format.
We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2021, at the age of 75, the head of the Department of Physics and Theoretical Mechanics of KhNTUA, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Ivanovych Spolnik passed away. This is a huge loss for our university and the entire scientific community of Ukraine.
The Department of Media Communications and the Department of Organization of Educational Work of Students remind us that currently, our university is holding a competition for the best student video-presentation about the multifaceted life of our university and its educational and scientific departments. The organizing committee of the competition has already received several interesting works that will take part in the competition. At the end of February 2021, the UWW International Tournament in three wrestling styles (freestyle, women’s, and Greco-Roman wrestling) dedicated to outstanding Ukrainian wrestlers and coaches took place in the Palace of Sports in Kyiv. Athletes from more than 35 countries took part in these competitions. In the weight up to 87 kg gold was won by the current champion of Europe, in the recent student of KhNTUA (ESI PFP) Semyon Novikov. In the final, Semyon beat the titled Georgian Lashi Gobadze 5-0.
Yesterday a new pilot project “Rector’s Field Meeting” was started. The purpose of the project is to analyze the work of the Institute and FTSL, discuss problems on the ground and make constructive decisions. The first meeting chaired by the rector of KhNTUA O. Nanka took place at the в ESI ECT.
Today in the conference hall of KhNTUA a workshop for scientific and pedagogical workers of the Institute of BM on the topic “Access to the collection of Direct Direct” was held, which was conducted by the Deputy Head of the Scientific Library of the University Rybalchenko Olena. She acquainted the seminar participants with scientometric databases and provided recommendations for their completion and use.
The internship of students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Processing and Food Production (ESI PFP) specialty “Industrial Engineering”, studying for the educational and professional program “Engineering of food processing”, is always interesting because it is related to food production.

Recently, a traditional international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in memory of Yevhen Trukhin took place in the ZAS Sports Palace (Zaporizhzhya). Wrestlers from all over Ukraine and the Polish team competed. Students of our university became winners and prize-winners of these competitions.
