The internship of the 2nd year students of the ESI BML of the specialty 242 Tourism in the discipline “Museum Studies, Excursions, Protection of Monuments” continues. Head of practice – Ph.D. Natalia Bondar, Associate Professor of the UNESCO Department of Philosophy of Human Communication and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. During the internship, students visited the exhibition “Animal style. Images of animals in world culture ”in AVEC Gallery, where they got acquainted with the possibilities of using the cultural, recreational, tourist potential of domestic galleries and modern trends in the development of museum and gallery activities.

The Admissions Committee is working

Today, Olga Zaichenko and her mother Maryna Ihorivna visited the university’s Admissions Committee to submit documents for admission to the specialty 242 Tourism. This year, Olya graduated from Chkaliv Lyceum (Chkalivske village, Chuhuiv district), successfully passed the external examination, and decided to continue her studies at our university, where future “tourists” are trained.

On July 7, 2021, a working meeting was held with directors of educational and scientific institutes, deans of faculties, and executive secretaries of admission commissions involved in the reorganization process according to the MES Order of 18.06.2021 № 689 “On the establishment of the State Biotechnology University” and the MES Order of 25.06 .2021 № 717, on the organization of the introductory campaign for the 2021-2022 academic year. The issues of the current state of work of admission commissions, their coordination, prospects of recruitment of higher education applicants, implementation of a common policy of forming a contingent of students, as well as applications for the implementation of the state order for educational services in 2021 were considered.

Rating of higher education institutions in Kharkiv

The information resource “Osvita.ua” published the rating of higher education institutions of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region, which took the highest places in the consolidated rating of higher education institutions of Ukraine in 2021. The ranking includes 31 institutions of higher education, among which the first places are traditionally occupied by Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin, the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, and Kharkiv National Medical University.

The introductory campaign of 2021 continues

From the very morning near the Admissions Committee of KhNTUA, you can see small groups of people who come here to get advice on this year’s admission to the university. And that’s a good sign. Because most of those who come (mostly this year’s graduates and their parents) have already clearly defined in which university they want to study, and in which specialty. But many nuances are not spelled out in the Terms or the Rules of Admission to Higher Education Institutions in 2021. In addition, every year in these documents there are some changes and innovations that require clarification by experts. This is what the staff of the Admissions Committee is doing together with Executive Secretary Serhii Skofenko. They provide this year’s entrants with both group and individual consultations, and if necessary, conduct career guidance works with them.
