Using Sciencedirect and Scopus databases – webinars from Elsevier

During April-June 2021, ELSEVIER will hold a series of webinars in Ukrainian and English for scientists and editors of scientific journals. The webinars will focus on interaction with ScienceDirect and Scopus databases, highlight selection procedures and criteria for selecting publications for indexing, work with profiles of scientists and institutions in Scopus, the possibility of using the analytical tool SciVal to find grants and evaluate the activities of scientists and institutions. Participants will also be able to receive electronic certificates of participation, which can be downloaded after the relevant webinar on the BrightTALK platform. Another online lecture took place

On April 15, 2021, the Department of UNESCO “Philosophy of Human Communication” and Social Sciences and Humanities together with the Center for Folklore Studies of the University of Alberta (Canada) in the framework of international cooperation held another public online lecture on “Cultural landscapes as a dispute” ». Lecturer Roman Lozynsky – a geographer with a master’s degree from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (2009) and Southern Illinois State University in Edwardsville, as a Fulbright Scholar (the USA, 2017); invited lecturer of the Ukrainian Catholic University, Department of Cultural Studies; author of the book “Cultural Landscapes of Galicia: Ethics of Human Interaction with Nature” and articles in the journals Critique and Common. Certification of teachers of Vovchansky College

April 15, this year A meeting of the attestation commission of the third level at the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration took place, during which the attestation cases of the college teachers were considered. The achievements of teachers were presented by the chairman of the attestation commission of the I level at Vovchansky College of Kharkiv National Technical University of AgricultureVovchansky professional college of KhNTUA A. Shcherbak. The teachers themselves and the material for attestation (coordination of pedagogical activity by the requirements of the Standard Regulations on attestation of pedagogical workers for compliance with the requirements for assigning qualification categories, accompanying documentation, characteristics, etc.) were prepared by Methodist T. Tetyana Bondareva, a methodologist at the Vovchansk Vocational College of the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture, is involved in the development of standards for professional higher education in Ukraine. At the beginning of 2020, she passed a competitive selection to the scientific and methodological commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (order №907 of 09.07.2020), was included in the subcommittee 014 “Secondary Education”, and later was elected chairman of this subcommittee.

The quality of education is modern, payment is affordable

As we have already informed, one of the priority activities of our university is the development of international cooperation, including the training of foreign nationals studying at KhNTUA in various specialties. If in 2017 the contingent of foreign students studying at our university numbered 119 people, in 2018 304 students were already studying, in 2019 – 348 foreign citizens, and at the end of 2020 – 300 foreigners from 21 countries.
