Students celebrated Shrovetide

Today, in compliance with all quarantine recommendations, students of our university held a traditional Shrovetide holiday, which symbolizes the farewell of winter and the meeting of spring. In the courtyard of the university, they created an interesting photo area with a stuffed Shrovetide, as well as treated everyone to pancakes and various delicacies. Each educational and scientific institute and faculty of TSL prepared their culinary masterpieces and presentations for this holiday, which were evaluated by an authoritative jury of representatives of the administration. The celebration itself was accompanied by merry songs and dances, which gave everyone a good mood.

For significant personal contribution to the socio-economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and educational development of the Ukrainian state, exemplary performance of official duties, for many years of hard work, and on the occasion of International Women’s Day, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded a group of women state awards and distinctions. Among them is the rector of NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF PHARMACY (Kharkiv)  Alla Kotvitska, who was awarded the Order of Princess Olga III degree.

Students were reminded of safety rules

March 9, this year M. Vynokurov, a leading engineer for labor protection of KhNTUA, instructed life safety among first-year students of the Institute of Business and Management. Particular emphasis was placed on compliance with fire safety rules in the school and student dormitories, traffic rules, and general safety rules when on the streets and in crowded places.

Taras Shevchenko’s multifaceted work has not lost its relevance for many years. He was a profound lyricist, creator of epic poems, and an outstanding playwright and versatile artist. For Taras Shevchenko’s birthday, the KhNTUSG Scientific Library has prepared a virtual exhibition “Kobzar’s Voice Over the World”, which will introduce you to the anniversary works of the writer “Haidamaki” and “Alphabet of South Russia”.

A TOURIST CLUB HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED

At the initiative of the Department of UNESCO “Philosophy of Human Communication” and social sciences and humanities at our university created a local history and tourism research student club “Milky Way”. This is a student association that will study Kharkiv and other regions of Ukraine in terms of tourism. The main task of the club, its organizers, and members – students – see in the promotion and promotion of the national market of local tourism products, which includes local exploration, the creation of tourist routes, excursions, hiking, and more.

The visit to Turkey continues

As we have already informed, the delegation of the Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture named after P. Vasylenko as a part of the rector of the university O. Nankа, Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching and International Relations Yu. Vitkovskyi and the head of the training department for working with foreign citizens and stateless persons O. Azizov are in Turkey, where they hold working meetings with Turkish partners.

THE NEXT VICTORIES OF OUR ATHLETES

At the end of February 2021, the UWW International Tournament in three wrestling styles (freestyle, women’s, and Greco-Roman wrestling) dedicated to outstanding Ukrainian wrestlers and coaches took place in the Palace of Sports in Kyiv. Athletes from more than 35 countries took part in these competitions. In the weight up to 87 kg gold was won by the current champion of Europe, in the recent student of KhNTUA (ESI PFP) Semyon Novikov. In the final, Semyon beat the titled Georgian Lashi Gobadze 5-0.

PRODUCTION PRACTICE ON DIAGNOSTICS AND MAINTENANCE OF MACHINES

The presence of quarantine does not ensure the constant operation of machines and units of the agro-industrial complex. They do not cease to wear out, break down and require timely diagnosis of the technical condition, the choice of rational modes of operation, and quality service.

A significant part of students of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture combines their studies with public and volunteer activities. The university management encourages such activities, considering it as an important element of patriotic education of young people and the formation of an active life position in them.

We are developing international cooperation

On March 1, 2021, a delegation of the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture consisting of Rector O. Nanka, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relations Yu. Vitkovsky and Head of the Educational Department for Work with Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons O. Azizova paid a working visit to Gaziantep State University of the Republic of Turkey (GAUN), where she held a series of meetings with the university’s management and staff. In particular, the delegation of KhNTUA visited the three oldest and most powerful faculties of Gaziantep University: food processing, mechanization, and electrification. During the acquaintance with these faculties, a number of meetings were held with deans and staff. The delegation paid special attention to the logistics of laboratories.

Exhibition-fair “Beekeeping of Slobozhanshchina 2021” – a significant step towards the introduction of higher education in the industry!

The initiative group of scientific and pedagogical workers took part in the work of the traditional exhibition-fair “Beekeeping of Slobozhanshchyna 2021”, which took place on February 20-21, 2021 in Kharkiv. This group was headed by the rector of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture by Professor Oleksandr Nanka. The group included the head of the Department of technical systems and technologies of animal husbandry named after B. Shabelnyk, Professor Oleksandr Naumenko, Professor Volodymyr Shabli, Senior Lecturer Yuriy Syromyatnikov, Assistant Yuriy Mikheyev, and Chaplain Oleksandr Belykh.

NEW EDUCATIONAL EDITION

The lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of our university have close and fruitful business relations with the research and teaching staff of the Department of Accounting of Odessa State Agrarian University. Through the joint efforts of teachers of both departments, the textbook “Accounting in Enterprise Management” was published, which was developed in cooperation with the Odesa Regional Agricultural Advisory Service “Center for Rural Development and Legal Support” (ORACS) with the Ukrainian Fruit and Vegetable Business Development Project (UHB). funded by the Ministry of International Affairs of Canada, co-financed and implemented by the Mennonite Economic Development Association (MEDA).
