Ensuring the high quality and innovative-technological nature of the educational process in higher education institutions require constant updating and improvement of knowledge, practical experience of the teaching staff. This is achieved, in particular, by continuous professional development of teachers in the form of internships in other institutions of higher education.

On July 16, 2021, a meeting of the primary trade union organization of KhNTUA and consultations on the possible dismissal of employees during the reorganization took place. During the meeting, the chairman of the primary trade union Victor Kis reported on the submission of the chairman of the reorganization commission on the possible dismissal of employees of 4 categories from 22.11.2021. The chairman of the reorganization commission, acting Rector of the State Biotechnology University Ruslan Tikhonchenko, and First Vice-Rector Oleksiy Krasnorutskyy noted that the reorganization is not the liquidation of universities, and SBTU is their full successor. In addition, the commissions for the reorganization of KhNTUA and the administration of SBTU made every effort to minimize possible layoffs. As a result of these efforts, an agreement was reached, embodied in the signed staff list, in which the total dismissal of staff will be only 312 people from all 4 free economic zones, while the composition of scientific and pedagogical staff is preserved in full. The possible reduction will affect only employees of the simplest professions and employees of service departments. After discussing the information provided and asking clarifying questions, the primary trade union organization representatives agreed on quantitative indicators of possible staff reductions, which sent an excerpt from the relevant protocol to the reorganization commission of KhNTUA and the SBTU administration.
Laboratory of tests for strength and reliability
Shevchenko’s Days are approaching, which are traditionally widely celebrated in Ukraine. Students and teachers of Vovchansk Vocational College of KhNTUA have already joined Shevchenko’s events. As part of the Month of Pedagogical Skills, they organized an exhibition of literature, reproductions of paintings, and reprints of archival materials and manuscripts based on the works of Taras Shevchenko, in particular, the poem “Katerina”.
On May 2, Professor Mykhailo Turchenko, who worked at our university for a long time and left a good memory among students and teachers, turned 99 years old. In addition to teaching, he actively worked on preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War and the role of veterans in defending the Fatherland from the Nazi invasion and is currently working on memoirs about those events.

Education In 1981 he graduated from the Alexandrovsk secondary school №8. In 1985, he graduated with honors from the Krasnograd College of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture. From 1987 to 1992 studied at the Kharkiv Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture, which he graduated with honors.
