Today at the meeting of the Rector’s Office the reporting of the heads of the university departments on the work in 2020-2021 continued. This time the reports were compiled by representatives of the Institute of Technical Service and the Institute of Processing and Food Production, who were acquainted with the results of the work of their teams on key indicators. There are eight of them, but, of course, the activity of the departments is not limited to these indicators. Therefore, the heads of departments had something to report, supporting their reports with specific figures, graphs, and illustrations.

The golden fund of our university

Dmytro Mazorenko is a well-known and very significant person for our university. First, he is a graduate of the former KhIMEA (1960) and worked here for many years, achieving considerable success. He is a full corresponding member of NAAS of Ukraine, a member of the International Academy of Higher Education, an academician of the International Academy of Agrarian Sciences, etc. Secondly, from 1996 to 2012 Dmitro was the rector of our university and did a lot for its development. It was during his rectorship that the UNESCO Department and the Department of Culture, the Center for Rural Sociology were established at the university, and the Bologna system was introduced… Thirdly, Dmytro Ivanovych still keeps in touch with our university, remaining an adviser to the current rector O. Nanka.

Departments report

Today at the meeting of the Rector’s Office the reports of the heads of the departments of KhNTUA on the work during 2020-2021 were heard. The first to report was the heads of 6 departments of the Institute of Mechatronics and Management Systems, who reported on the achievements and problems in the work of their teams, in particular on the implementation of curricula and programs, educational and methodological support of the educational process, publishing, career guidance and more. After that, the reports of the heads of the departments of the Institute of Energy and Computer Technologies were heard at the meeting of the Rector’s Office.

Awarding the winners of the creative competition

On June 18, during the solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to the masters of KhNTUA in the assembly hall, the winners of the student competition for the best video about our university and its educational and scientific departments were awarded. The mentioned competition was organized by the Department of Media Communications of KhNTUA, the Department of Educational Work of Students, and the Trade Union Committee.

The rector of KhNTUA congratulates on the Farmer’s Day

Dear friends! This year, for the second time, Ukraine celebrates Farmer’s Day, which is a holiday for a large number of agricultural producers. In the Kharkiv region alone, more than 1.3 thousand farms are registered. In total, more than 47,000 farms carry out production activities in Ukraine, which provide a significant share of gross agricultural output and ensure the food security of our state.

The Turkish businessman graduated from KhNTUA

This week, foreign students of the  Kharkiv Petro VasylenkoNational Technical University of Agriculture took state exams and defended their qualification papers for the Bachelor’s degree. Graduates have successfully coped with the tasks and are already preparing for diplomas.

As we have already informed, today at the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture held a graduation ceremony of masters in 2021, who received diplomas and many compliments to his address. Many warm words were received from the graduates and their parents and university professors, who for six years taught and educated students, preparing them for adult life.

Future mechanical technicians pass state certification

The end of June every year is an exciting and responsible time both for students – graduates of “Vovchansky Vocational College of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture” and for the entire teaching staff. Applicants complete their studies bypassing the state certification for compliance of the obtained theoretical knowledge and practical skills with the state standards of training of EQL junior specialists in the specialty 208 “Agroengineering” and the qualification of “technician-mechanic”.

Presentation of the specialty 073 Management

MANAGER is a professional manager – from the head of the department to the head of the enterprise, as well as to the highest level of management. The main feature of the manager’s profession is its versatility, which allows graduates to be in demand in enterprises of all forms of ownership and in all sectors of the economy. Such specialists are trained at the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture at two levels of training – bachelor`s, and master’s.

Today at the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture held a graduation ceremony of masters in 2021, who completed a full course of study and received diplomas. Representatives of the Rector’s Office and research and educational institutes, parents of graduates and their friends, and, of course, the masters themselves gathered on this occasion in the assembly hall of the university.

Certification of bachelors of the Institute of Technical Sciences

Certification of applicants for the higher education of the first “bachelor’s” in the specialty 133 “Industrial Engineering” branch of knowledge 13 “Mechanical Engineering” has begun. The exams started according to the approved schedule. The chairmen of the examination commissions Shevchenko Ihor, Mykhailov Anatoliy, and members Romanchenko Volodymyr, Tikhonov Oleksandr, Kalinin Yevhen, Kolpachenko Nadiya congratulated the students on the beginning of the final attestation and acquainted them with the rules of test examination.

The Department of Economics and Marketing of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture presents the specialty 051 Economics, as well as educational and professional programs “Economics”, “Business Economics” and “International Economics”.

Winners and laureates of the “Student Spring-2021” contest were awarded

As we have already informed, on June 16 in Kharkiv the winners of the XXVI City Festival-Competition “Student Spring-2021” were awarded, in which students and employees of our university took an active part. It is worth noting that the Department of Educational Work of Students of KhNTUA submitted 10 issues and 3 videos to the competition, which were evaluated by an authoritative jury. The high professionalism and creativity of our students allowed winning 3 first places, 2 third, and get 4 laureate diplomas.

On June 16, the XXVI City Student Amateur Art Competition “Student Spring – 2021” and the award ceremony took place in Kharkiv. The best employees of higher education institutions of the city of Kharkiv were also awarded for long-term cooperation and high-quality preparation of the organization and holding of the competition “Student Spring – 2021”. Among them is the head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of KhNTUA – Maryna Mazorenko. The diploma was presented to her by Oleksiy Chubarov, Director of the Department for Family, Youth, and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council.

In Ukraine, the sowing of early spring cereals and legumes is coming to an end. According to the Ministry of Agricultural Development, as of June 10, 2021, the following were sown: wheat – 174.7 thousand hectares (99%); barley – 1.33 million hectares (96%); oats – 186.8 thousand hectares (96%); peas – 229.6 thousand hectares (98%).
