The Department of Media Communications of KhNTUSG, the Department for the Organization of Students’ Educational Work, and the Trade Union Committee of the University have announced a competition of student videos-presentations that should reflect the multifaceted life of our university and its educational and scientific departments.
As we have already informed, today the elections of the chairman of the student parliament took place at our university, as a result of which the fourth-year student of the Institute of Business, Management, and Law Maryna Romanashenko was elected the head of the student self-government body. In the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture election of the chairman of the student`s parliament has ended. According to the election commission, 57 student voters took part in the election of the chairman, which is 81.4 percent of the total number of students who had the right to participate in the election.

This morning, a polling station opened in the main building of the KhNTUA, where a secret ballot for the chairman of the student parliament continues. In total, 70 voter students representing all educational and research institutes and faculties of the university are included in the voter lists. The ballot paper includes three candidates for the chairman of the student parliament, who will soon head this body of student self-government.
The registration of entrants who plan to take the single entrance exam in a foreign language and the single professional entrance exam for admission to study for a master’s degree has been completed. According to the information entered into the Unified State Electronic Database on Education, 664 people registered to compile the EMI in a foreign language and enter the master’s program of the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the State Targeted Social Program “Youth of Ukraine” for 2021-2025, which aims to create opportunities for self-realization and development of the potential of youth in Ukraine, its participation, and integration into public life. The program provides for the definition of activities in 9 priority tasks, including raising the level of youth competencies and the level of volunteering culture among young people.
The next issue of the scientific and educational journal “New Collegium” was published, which is published with the assistance of the Board of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Kharkiv Region and Kharkiv University Consortium with the support of the Department of Science and Education of Kharkiv Regional State Administration. Today, June 7, Andriy Shcherbak, director of the Vovchansky Vocational College of KhNTUA, celebrates his jubilee birthday. Andriy Volodymyrovych is a graduate of the college (he graduated from the Vovchansk branch of the F. Tymoshenko Krasnograd Technical School of Agricultural Mechanization in 2000). All his work is connected with his native college, to which he gives a lot of strength and inspiration.
Graduates of schools that will enter higher education institutions this year must independently calculate the average score of the certificate (certificate) of complete general secondary education. The relevant explanation was provided by the Ministry of Education and Science. The department draws the attention of applicants and members of the admissions committee to the fact that when applying to a higher education institution – both electronically and in paper form – the graduate must calculate the average score of the certificate. The admission commissions of higher education institutions will check the correctness of the calculation. The average score of the certificate must be calculated on a 12-point scale rounded to the nearest tenth.
