1. 1. 1982 – diploma of forestry engineer in the specialty “Forestry”. Ukrainian Agricultural Academy
   2. 1987 – defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences in specialty 06.03.04 – agroforestry and protective afforestation
   3. 2012 – defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in the specialty 06.03.01 – forest crops and Phyto reclamation. Topic: “Forest reclamation support of the ecological component of sustainable development of plain agricultural landscapes of Ukraine”.
   4. 2014 – awarded the academic title of Professor of Forestry and Land Reclamation
