OPEN DAY IN KHNTUA (PHOTO)

Today our university hosted the traditional Open Day, during which future entrants and their parents were able to get acquainted with the university management and its training base, as well as get up-to-date information on this year’s admission campaign to KhNTUA and training specialists in various SPECIALTIES.

Even though the event was held online, it was attended by about 150 people who joined the video broadcast and were able to communicate directly with the rector of the university, members of the Admissions Committee, directors of educational and research institutes, and the dean of TSL.

At the beginning of the meeting, the future entrants and their parents were addressed by the rector of the university and the chairman of the Admissions Committee O. Nanka, who greeted them at the Open Day and wished everyone health, luck, and prosperity. Through the means of video communication, the participants were also greeted by a graduate of our university S. Chernov. He thanked the university staff for keeping the quality of university education in Ukraine high and encouraged future entrants to join the large and friendly university family, which helps to find their place in life.

Then the executive secretary of the Admissions Committee S. Skofenko acquainted the audience with the main stages of the admission campaign of 2021 and informed them about the features of this campaign and additional opportunities for entrants that will help them enter the university for prestigious specialties and successfully study here, including at the expense of the state budget. First of all, it is training in preparatory courses that work at the university, participation in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad of entrants, writing a cover letter, and more.

For individual consultations and practical assistance, S. Skofenko advised future entrants and their parents to apply to the University Admissions Committee, which works in an intensified mode. He also invited future graduates to take part in the first session of the All-Ukrainian Entrance Olympiad, which will take place on March 6 this year. from 9:30 in the main building of the university (44 Alchevskikh Street) and will allow the winners to receive up to 20 additional points to one of the subjects of external evaluation, which will increase the overall competitive score during admission.

The heads of educational and scientific institutes also made short reports-presentations to the participants of the online event: V. Vlasovets, V. Zhyla, V. Bredikhin, O. Saychuk, О. Gridin and Dean of the Faculty of Technological Systems and Logistics A. Kravtsov. Their information, first of all, concerned the characteristics of the SPECIALTIES for which the Institute and the FTSL train students, the peculiarities of their various types of internships (including abroad), and employment opportunities after graduation.

After that, members of the Admissions Committee, representatives of the administration, and educational departments answered numerous questions from the participants of the meeting, which came through video channels and e-mails of the university.

It should be noted that the host and moderator of this meeting was an employee of the Department of educational work of students O. Skrypka that immediately managed to interest the audience and kept its attention until the last minutes. The performances of the university students and their creative performances prepared for the Open Day were also interesting.

Following the results of the Open Day, the rector of the university O. Nanka and the executive secretary of the Admissions Committee S. Skofenko thanked all the organizers and participants of this event and gave short video comments:
