Let’s preserve and increase natural treasures!

Today is World Earth Day. This event is aimed at uniting humanity in a common environmental cause – improving the environment.

The tradition began in the spring, in America, in 1970, wherein one of the states, in just one day, more than 1 million trees were planted. In 2009, the UN General Assembly proclaimed International Mother Earth Day.

On this day, it is customary to carry out various environmental actions, plant trees, clean the surrounding areas of garbage, that is, to unite to solve common environmental problems of mankind. It is necessary to think about what everyone can do individually to improve the ecology, purity of water, land, air and save populations of endangered animals (mammals, fish, insects, reptiles, etc.). To do this, it is necessary to overcome disunity and selfishness, to respect both the environment and each other.

Earth Day is celebrated globally in more than 193 countries.

The team of KhNTUA finds its place in this common cause to be a full-fledged participant in the protection of the environment and the preservation of the riches and natural resources that nature has endowed Ukraine with.
