On June 23, 2021, the defense of qualification work for obtaining the degree of higher education “Bachelor” by students of the Institute of Business and Management in the specialty 071 “Accounting and Taxation” full-time and part-time.
Qualification Commission chaired by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activity of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture O. Girzheva consisting of Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing T. Marenich, Ph.D., Associate Professor L. Polyvana (guarantor of the educational program), Doctor of Economics, Professor N. Ryzhikova, heard the results of research by bachelors majoring in “Accounting and Taxation”.
The defense took place with the use of multimedia visualization of research results obtained during the qualification work. The defense of the qualifying works of two students took place remotely online by video conferencing based on Google Meet in compliance with all established rules.
Graduates clearly, meaningfully, and competently answered the questions posed by the commission in the process of defending research results, demonstrating a high level of professional training in the chosen specialty.
The topics of qualification work for the degree of “Bachelor” are aimed at studying current issues of organization and accounting, preparation of financial statements in accordance with the requirements of NP (S) BU or IFRS, audit, and taxation of business entities.
The Qualification Commission noted the high level of readiness of future professionals to work, emphasizing, in particular, the practical importance of the proposed improvements in accounting and analytical work, and to continue training at the second (master’s) level of higher education.
The best defenses are the qualification (bachelor’s) works of Bessonova Anastasia, Gatsko Daria, and Kiryanova Nastya. By the decision of the qualification commission, the graduates were awarded the qualification of bachelor of accounting and taxation.
