Recently, the city of Sumy hosted the Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestling championship among wrestlers under the age of 23, which took almost 200 athletes from 13 regions of Ukraine. Kharkiv region was represented at the championship by students of our university, who won several important victories. In particular, Andrii Kulik (FTSL) took first place in the 72 kg weight category, Mykhailo Vishnevetskyi (ESI MMS) took first place in the weight category executioner 130 kg, Artem Riabov (ESI BM) took third place in weights category executioner 63 kg and Vladislav Kovalenko (ESI MMS) took third place in the weights category executioner 130 kg.
Congratulations to our students who became winners and prize-winners of the competition. And we will remind you that this championship was qualifying for the championship of the world (Norway) and Europe (Macedonia) in this age group. We hope that our students will bring even more victories to Ukraine and Kharkiv region at the next competitions.
