Acting Rector of SBTU, Chairman of the Reorganization Commission Ruslan Tikhonchenko took part in a meeting with the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet, which, in particular, was attended by Ihor Shvaika.
The issues of reorganization of KhNTUA, KhNAU, KhSUFTT, and KhSZA were discussed. At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister stressed the consistent position of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry, and his personal, on strict adherence to the chosen course of reorganization and the impossibility of making any changes to the CMU Order № 431-r of 12.05.2021.
Unfortunately, despite the position of “fighter for the bright future of KhNAU”, the meeting was not attended by the rector of KhNAU named after V.V. Dokuchaev Ulyanchenko Alexander. Instead of the rector, Ihor Shvaika expressed his personal categorical position on the unpreparedness for dialogue with the reorganization commission and the SBTU administration. He stressed that this position reflects the opinion of the staff, which, of course, is questionable and unfounded, and also stated that he is taking part in the meeting as a “fighter against the raider capture of KhNAU named after V.V. Dokuchaev “, which, in his opinion, is carried out by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
As a result of the meeting, Ruslan Tikhonchenko expressed his position on the vision of ways to complete the reorganization and development of the newly created university, taking into account the achievements of the labor collectives of all free economic zones involved in the reorganization. This position was supported by the Minister as constructive and productive. In turn, the Minister expressed his wish for further intensification of communications with labor collectives. The exchange of views between Serhiy Shkarlet and Ruslan Tikhonchenko took place in a business and positive atmosphere.
