On October 30, 2020, a conference was held online between representatives of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture and representatives of the World Youth Association of Uzbekistan, which resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation. At the conference, our university was represented by the head of the training department for working with foreign citizens and stateless persons Otabeh Azizov .
The conference discussed the establishment of partnerships between KNTUSG and the Association to address issues related to the involvement of young people studying and working in Ukraine and the Republic of Uzbekistan, to hold various seminars, forums, joint projects, and more. It was also agreed that KNTUА would provide informational support to entrants from Uzbekistan, who will enroll in our Higher Education Institution.
By the way, on October 28, 2020, the Government approved a draft resolution CMU” On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of September 12, 2018, № 729 “, according to which it was abolished restrictions on higher education, in particular at the expense of state and local budgets, by foreigners and stateless persons. From now on, the admission of these persons to higher education institutions will be carried out on an equal footing with the citizens of Ukraine, in particular, they will have the opportunity to obtain higher education in Ukraine at the expense of state and local budgets.
