The Department of UNESCO “Philosophy of Human Communication” and social and humanitarian disciplines within the framework of international cooperation continue the series of open lectures “Ukraine in the global dimension”.

Another online lecture “My Room: Lessons from Feminist and Gender Studies in a Pandemic.”

Lecturer Jessica Zykhovych (postdoctoral researcher, University of Alberta) was a Fulbright researcher in 2017-2018 at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. She is currently at the University of Alberta on the Modern Ukraine Study Program.

Dr. Zykhovych was also a Fellow of the Munch School and Global Studies at the University of Toronto, a visiting researcher at the Uppsala University Institute of Russian and Eastern European Studies, and lectured at St. Andrew’s University in Edinburgh, New York University’s Center for European and Mediterranean Studies. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.

The lecture will take place on March 18, 2021, at 16.00.
