The Ministry of Education of Ukraine has extended the terms of enrollment of foreigners in higher education institutions in the 2020/2021 academic year. Due to quarantine restrictions and the epidemiological situation, the terms of enrollment of foreigners in higher education institutions of Ukraine in the 2020/2021 academic year have been extended twice a year: until December 15, 2020, and April 15, 2021. It is also possible for foreigners to study at a distance, except for specialties in the field of knowledge “22. Healthcare “
This is stated in order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (registered with the Ministry of Justice on October 28, 2020 under № 1058/35341), which approved the relevant amendments to Procedure for the organization of recruitment and training (internships) of foreigners and stateless persons.
The order of the Ministry of Education and Science was published in the “Official Gazette of Ukraine” on October 30, 2020.
We remind, the Government abolished restrictions on higher education, in particular at the expense of state and local budgets, by foreigners and stateless persons.
