On April 6-7, the International Scientific and Methodological Conference “Actual Problems of the Educational Process in the Conditions of Quarantine Restrictions and Distance Learning” took place. The conference was organized by Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture, the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National University of Agriculture (International Department and Department of UNESCO “Philosophy of Human Communication” and Socio-Humanities), Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after GS Frying pans, National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain), Jordan National University (Jordan), German Academy of Retraining (Germany), Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazova (Turkmenistan), Brest State Technical University (Belarus), NGO “Ukrainian Association of Social Scientists and Teachers”, NGO “Research Institute of Ukrainian Studies and Cossacks”.
At the plenary session, the conference participants were greeted by the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture D. Cherednik, Vice-Rector for Research of Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G. Skovoroda S. Berezhna, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relations of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture Yu. Vitkovskyi.
After the grand opening of the scientific-methodical conference, the participants proceeded to a direct discussion of the topic of the event. In particular, the conference participants reported with presentation materials and discussed in eight sections: “Distance learning methods: issues and innovative approaches”, “Concepts of successful education in the information society”, “Organization and quality management of the modern educational process”, “Socio-political disciplines, as the basis of civic education of the new generation of the scientific and engineering elite of Ukraine. State and Law in the Context of Civilizational Transformations”, “Physical Education, Sports and Tourism in the Context of National-Patriotic Education of Higher Education Students “,” Philosophical Aspects of Educational Strategies”, “Heuristic Potential of Fundamental and Applied Disciplines in Forming Higher Education Students’ Worldview”, “Problems of organization of the educational process in institutions of general secondary, professional (vocational), professional higher education in the conditions of distance learning”.
Summing up the conference, the organizer and moderator of this event, Professor of UNESCO “Philosophy of Human Communication and Social Sciences and Humanities” KhNTUA O. Voronyanskyi stressed the need to continue the discussion on some issues raised by participants and expressed hope their conclusions and practical recommendations will be used in the educational process in the conditions of quarantine restrictions and distance learning.
The logical result of the conference will be the publication of a collection of scientific papers, which submitted 125 articles.
