Students and staff of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture joined the Embroidery Day, which is traditionally celebrated in Ukraine on May 20. This year marks 15 years since the holiday was launched.
On the occasion of the Day of Embroidery at the university, students arranged a wonderful location, near which everyone is happy to be photographed. And in the Ukrainian room as an assistant of the UNESCO Department “Philosophy of Human Communication” and social sciences and humanities, Ph.D. Anastasia Lapchenko gave a lecture on “Embroidery – your genetic code.” It is under this slogan that the friendly family of KhNTUA celebrates Embroidery Day today. At the lecture, students learned about the characteristic motifs in the ornaments of embroidery, as well as about famous figures for whom wearing an embroidered shirt has become not only patriotic but also fashionable and modern!
