Department of UNESCO “Philosophy of Human Communication” and social sciences and humanities announces the launch of a series of open lectures Ukraine in the Global Dimension within the framework of international cooperation. The first online lecture on “ A Village with Global Connections: Ukrainian-Canadian History”.

Lecturer Matthias Kaltenbrunner,  Doctor of Philosophy in History at the University of Vienna (Austria). Researches the history of Central and Eastern Europe of the XIX and XX centuries, in particular the history of migration processes, informal markets and the fate of prisoners of war. He currently works as a researcher at the Center for Folklore Studies in Kuhl, University of Alberta (Canada).
