Modern problems of agricultural mechanics

The XXI International Scientific Conference “Modern Problems of Agricultural Mechanics” took place at the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture. As we recently reported, this conference is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of KhNTUA, as well as the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous scientist-agrarian Petro Vasylenko, whose name the university bears. The purpose of the conference is to summarize the international and domestic experience in research, development, and implementation of competitive, resource-saving technologies and technical means for the development of agricultural mechanics of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.

The conference began with a plenary session, which was attended by Acting Rector of the University S. Zaika, Vice-Rector for Research V. Melnyk, Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching and International Relations Yu. Vitkovskyi and Director of the Institute of Mechatronics and Management Systems V. Vlasovets. They congratulated the conference participants at the beginning of this event and wished them fruitful work.

In particular, addressing the audience, S. Zaika noted:

«Good morning dear colleagues! On behalf of the staff of the Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture named after Petro Vasylenko, I congratulate you on the remarkable event of the entire agrarian scientific community – on the 120th anniversary of the birth of Petro V. Vasylenko! Since 2004, our university has been im’ I this outstanding scientist, known not only in Ukraine but also far beyond its borders. And we, of course, try to meet his majesty. Today our university is one of the leaders in agricultural education and science in the country, occupying leading positions in many scientific fields, educating more than one generation of specialists in the agricultural sector of the national economy, but also famous scientists with their own scientific schools.

Unfortunately, the pandemic has made its adjustments and today we are holding a conference online. However, I hope that this will not prevent us from exchanging views, presenting our scientific achievements and plidno working.

I want to wish everyone good health’ first of all, and of course the realization of all dreams. I want to assure the scientific community that our university will continue to honor Petro Vasylenko and glorify him with his achievements. Once again with the world of all!»

After the plenary session, the conference continued in sections.

Presented their materials and took part in the conference, which was held under the auspices of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and our university – Baja California Autonomous University, Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University, RUE “Scientific Center of Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus” “Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture” NAAS of Ukraine. Besides, representatives of the following educational institutions presented their reports: NULES, SNAU, PNU, DSAEU, VNAU, ZHATK, PDAA, KhNADU, CNTU, LNTU, PDATU, TNTU, VSP “DAFK LNAU”, NTU “RegU KhPIS”, TSATU, KhNAU, VP NULES of Ukraine «Nemishayevsky agrotechnical college», SHEI «KhDAU», SHEI «Kherson state agrarian university», KNU, LNAU, MNAU, NAU, NUVGP, NFU, SDU, UNUS. The total number of reports is 230.
