Every year meetings of graduates of different years take place in the walls of our university. But this happened for the first time. Today, graduates of the former KhIMEA 1971 met in the walls of the Institute of Mechatronics and Management Systems, who remembered their classmates, teachers and unforgettable years of student life.
Not all graduates who received a degree in mechanical engineering 50 years ago were able to come to this meeting, many are no longer in this world. But those 20 people still came or did not regret it at all. Because they had a unique opportunity to re-immerse themselves in the years of their youth, chat with university friends and touch the walls of their native alma mater.
On behalf of the Rector’s Office of the KhNTUA, Vitalii Vlasovets, the director of the Institute of MMS, greeted the 1971 graduates and gave them a tour of the institute’s classrooms and laboratories. The former students were especially impressed by the modern case research laboratory “Case Education” and the training and research center “John Deere Training Center”. In one of the classrooms on the big screen, the graduates viewed a photo album of their course and honored their classmates who passed away.
