One of the important stages of acquiring quality professional skills in modern students is their practical training. The main task of practical training of future professionals is to ensure its continuity and consistency in the acquisition of the necessary amount of practical knowledge, skills, and abilities.
According to the schedule of the educational process, students majoring in 133 “Industrial Engineering” at the Department of Technological Systems of Repair Production named after OI Sidashenko, are undergoing internships at professional enterprises in Ukraine. The general organization of students’ practice and control over its implementation is carried out by the head of the practice, Ph.D., associate professor VM Romanchenko, who instructed on safety before it began, helped draw up the necessary documents, and issued individual assignments.
In the process of internship, students perform the entire cycle of basic work, being in the workplace, studying a large area of production, and gaining practical skills in working with modern equipment in their specialty. At the end of the internship, students submit to the head a properly executed report and a completed diary, and the department holds a public defense of these reports.
According to the results of the internship, students are allowed to work at these enterprises after graduation from the University.
