The internship of the 2nd year students of the ESI BML of the specialty 242 Tourism in the discipline “Museum Studies, Excursions, Protection of Monuments” continues. Head of practice – Ph.D. Natalia Bondar, Associate Professor of the UNESCO Department of Philosophy of Human Communication and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. During the internship, students visited the exhibition “Animal style. Images of animals in world culture ”in AVEC Gallery, where they got acquainted with the possibilities of using the cultural, recreational, tourist potential of domestic galleries and modern trends in the development of museum and gallery activities.
Students-interns visited a tour of the museum of KhNTUA, during which Cand. ist. Science, Art. Anastasia Lapchenko, a lecturer at the UNESCO Department, spoke about the principles of creating a museum exposition, methods of selection of exposition material, and decoration of museum expositions.
On July 13, the students-interns attended a master class on conducting an excursion from Olena Chernukha, a guide-tour guide of the Kharkiv Organizational and Methodological Center of Tourism. Students learned practical advice on preparation, organization, techniques, and methods of conducting excursions of different types, on different topics, for different groups of tourists, as well as became participants in an interesting tour “Bronze and Stones” Taras Shevchenko City Garden.
The knowledge acquired during the internship will help to form in future specialists in the specialty 242 Tourism practical skills in the field of providing excursion services.
