On the basis of the Tavriya State Agrotechnological University (Melitopol) on June 13-14, 2019 the VIII International scientific and practical conference in memory of II Martynenko “Energy supply of technological processes” took place.
The Faculty of Energy of TSATU gladly welcomed the conference participants. Teachers of the IETP department Yehorova O. and Borodai I. headed by the head of the department Kundenko M. took part in the sections “Electrical and nanotechnology” and “Resource and energy saving in the transmission and conversion of electricity.” The conference presented the results of research in the field of alternative energy in Ukraine, predicting the further development of the economy and energy on the basis of modern most efficient technologies.
During the conference, the participants got acquainted with the organization of Botievskaya wind farm. Botiyevskaya wind farm is the largest in Ukraine and one of the five largest in Europe. This is the first station of DTEK Pryazovsky’s wind farm with a total design capacity of 550 MW. Before the start of the tour of Botievskaya WPP, an introductory safety briefing was held. During the tour, the audience watched a film about the construction of Botievskaya wind farm, inspected the control center, went to the turbines and towers of wind farms.
Teachers of the IETP department talked to the management of the wind farm about the opportunities for the development of the innovation industry, the prospects of energy security of our country and the employment of students of the Institute of ECT.
