LASER TECHNOLOGY OF EMBRYON SEPARATION

Scientific adviser Ph.D., prof. Megel Yu.

Laser technology for distribution (bisection) of early cattle embryos has been developed. The use of this technology can increase the number of transplant calves by two or three times. This method differs from the existing microsurgical in that it does not require highly qualified specialists and is more sterile because there is no direct contact of the instrument with the embryo. It is possible to both remove the pellucid zone and divide the blastomere into parts.

The development is protected by patents of Ukraine. Patent. №21719, MKI A 61 B / 00 /. Ukraine. The method of obtaining monozygotic animals / Zubets M.V., Putyatin V.P., Megel Yu.Ye, Levkin A.V. AUTOMATED QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM FOR BIOLOGICAL OBJECTS

Scientific adviser Ph.D., prof. Megel Yu.

When using biotechnology for the transplantation of bovine embryos, the problem of assessing their quality arises. To assess the quality of embryos and their viability, an optoelectronic system has been developed that allows to automate this process, increase the accuracy of assessment, reduce the analysis time, eliminate harmful external influences on the embryo during the study. Express analysis of the condition of microbiological objects is carried out on their image. The assessment is carried out by determining the geometric and physical parameters of the object on the list of criteria based on which the decision on the state of the object on a four-point scale in automatic mode.

The development is protected by patents of Ukraine. Patent. №1322 MKI A 61 B / 02 / № 2002021454. Ukraine. AUTOMATED SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSING THE PRESENCE OF PATHOLOGY IN ANIMALS AND BIRDS

Scientific adviser Ph.D., prof. Megel Yu.

An automated system for diagnosing the presence of pathological changes in the body of animals (birds) has been developed. The system is based on the application of a field of inhomogeneous centrifugal forces, registers the erythrocyte sedimentation rate in automatic mode every 10 seconds, which allows obtaining a picture of sedimentation in the dynamics. The proposed system allows to fully automate the study, to register the sedimentation of erythrocytes in the dynamics, significantly reduce the study time, increase the information value of the test due to additional sedimentation parameters, increase the accuracy of the analysis data, and decide on the presence or absence of pathology.

The development is protected by a patent of Ukraine. Patent Pat. cor. mod. 37210 Ukraine, IPC G 01 N 33/49 № 200805778; Ukraine. Method of diagnosing pathology in animals and birds / Voziyan I.V., Megel Yu.Ye., Rybalka A.I. (Ukraine). – stated. 05.05.2008; publ. 11/25/2008 Bull. № 22.

AUTOMATED REAL ESTATE ASSESSMENT SYSTEM OF MICROBIOLOGICAL OBJECTS

Scientific adviser Ph.D., prof. Megel Yu.

The system allows you to monitor the movement of microbiological objects using a system of technical vision. The functional purpose of the system: registration of the presence of microbiological objects in the field of view of the sensor of external video information, counting the number of objects that are in the field of view or that have passed in front of the video sensor; measurement of geometric and physical characteristics; movement monitoring and speed determination; visual control of changes in the position of objects. The system is used to determine the quality of animal sperm by their motility.

The development is protected by patents of Ukraine. Patent. №19 MKI A 61 B / 02 / – № 95062785Ukraine. Method for determining sperm motility of farm animals Zubets M.V., Putyatin V.P., Megel Yu.Ye. Research activities

The main scientific directions of the department are the theory of complex systems, mathematical modeling of technological processes, optimization of ecological systems, modeling of biological and biotechnical systems and processes, biocybernetic means of medical electronics. The department trains postgraduate and doctoral students. During the years of existence, the department has prepared 12 candidates of sciences and 2 doctors of sciences. Every year the department holds a presentation or defense of dissertations.

Employees of the department are the authors of more than 400 scientific papers, 100 manuals, 5 textbooks, and more than 60 patents for inventions.

There is such an informal position at the department: each dissertation should be based on two three patents for inventions. Special mention should be made of inventions designed to monitor and control dynamic processes in agroecological systems.

Nine patents for inventions in different years were awarded gold and silver medals at the International Salon of Inventions and New Technologies, Agro.

Research activities

According to the indicators of inventive activity, the department takes one of the first places at the university. The Department of Cybernetics with such scientific problems is the only one among agricultural higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

Among the awards for the creation of new scientific developments, the department was awarded diplomas, medals, cups.
