Throughout almost all of 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers of the Department of Accounting and Auditing were not able to meet for “live” communication with potential entrants to our university. This period was filled with the development of distance communication with schoolchildren and college students. But it is worth noting that everyone was looking forward to a face-to-face meeting, especially with college students and their teachers – our colleagues, because for many years of cooperation there is a tradition of combining career guidance with training in the form of brain-rings, intellectual competitions, quizzes and more.
Today there is an opportunity to resume meetings in small groups with quarantine restrictions, which took advantage of the teachers of the department, and visited old friends – students and teachers of “Kharkiv College of Textiles and Design.”
On February 23, 2021, associate professors of the Department of Accounting and Auditing Oleksandr Viktorovych Nakisko and Serhiy Valentynovych Rudenko met with a group of college students, told them about our university, shared its latest achievements, revealed the features of the admission campaign for 2021 entrants, and answered all questions. participants. This meeting was an opportunity to present students with an invitation to the University Open Day, which will take place on February 27, 2021, and where they can get even more information.
In the second half of the meeting, associate professors held a quiz with students on knowledge of accounting and taxation. Participants actively demonstrated their knowledge and skills, and as a result – received interesting prizes from sponsors of the Department of Accounting and Auditing. I would like to note with pleasure that the students were satisfied and invited to hold such events more often.
