A SESSION OF THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL OF KhNTUA HELD

     On December 22, 2020 at 10.00 in the conference hall of KhNTUSG (44 Alchevskikh Street) under the chairmanship of Rector O. Nanka a regular online meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture, which addressed a number of important issues. At the beginning of the meeting, the rector of the University O. Nanka drew attention to the observance of certain quarantine restrictions during the event (presence in masks, proper distance between council members, etc.).

The rector of KhNTUA started the meeting with a pleasant mission, congratulated the university staff on a significant event, the 90th anniversary of KNTUA since its inception, and conducted the award procedures diplomas, certificates to the nukes of our university, three doctors of sciences in the relevant fields: N. Grabar, Y. Vitkovskii, G. Ivanova. The professor’s certificates were awarded to two persons: T. Vlasenko and V. Pavlykivsky, associate professor’s certificate was received by T. Duyunova, I. Senchuk and A. Mikitas.

The first vice-rector M. Lysychenko reminded that on November 20 the annual International Exhibition “Education and Career – 2020” took place. Our university took an active part, presented project “Cooperation of the university with foreign educational institutions – as a way to improve the quality of education and the place of KhNTUA in the world educational space” , and according to the results of expert evaluation of the works submitted to the competition of the participants of the exhibition “Education and Career – 2020”, conducted by the Institute for Modernization of Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, The Board of the Center “Exhibitions, Presentations” of the Board of the Society “Knowledge” of Ukraine approved Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture named after Petro Vasylenko to determine the winner of the thematic competition of higher education institutions in the field of “International Cooperation in Education and Science” and the highest award of the international exhibition – Grand Prix, diplomas of the exhibition “Education and Career – 2020”. Therefore, at the meeting the Grand Prix award was presented to the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relations Yu. Vitkovskii.

Also, according to the indicators of the higher education institution, the university received the honorary title of “Leader of Higher Education of Ukraine”, a diploma with this high award was presented to the rector of KhNTUA O. Nanka. In addition, Oleksandr Volodymyrovych was awarded the Gratitude for many years of scientific and pedagogical activity and significant contribution to the development of education and science of Ukraine.

Then at the meeting of the Academic Council the consideration of the issues of the agenda continued.  

The first question about the action plan to improve the indicators of budget financing on the basis of the “Formula for the distribution of finances of the Free Economic Zone of Ukraine” was made by the Vice-Rector for NDP and International Relations Yu.P. Vitkovsky. The report provoked a lively discussion, supplemented by the rector and participants of the meeting of the Academic Council.

Yu. Vitkovskii, conveyed from the Association of Agricultural Higher Education Institutions of China, congratulations, congratulations and a memorable gift to the 90th anniversary of KhNTUA.

Then the floor was given to the chairman of the trade union committee of employees and students VM Kisya for awards, the decision of the trade union of agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, awarded a medal for special achievements and significant contribution to the development of social partnership.

The second issue on the agenda concerned the results of internships by students in 2019/2020 academic year. Reported, PS Syromyatnikov – head of the center of practice and employment of student youth. Petro Stepanovych reported on the results of internships for students in this academic year, provided a qualitative analysis of internships, photos and stressed that the beginning of internships will begin on February 8. The question also provoked lively additions, suggestions and wishes. In particular, the first vice-rector M. Lysychenko called on the National Research Institute to fully cover the main page of the university website results of practice in real production conditions, as it is done from production practice in the village. Zolochiv where students mastered the operation of agricultural machinery (b O. Mandich – Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the University reported on the organization of training of young scientists startups for publication in open sources and search for investors in high-tech business in 2021. On the creation of a new project on the website of the Department of Marketing and Media to organize and hold a competition of startups for 2021. D completed this question, shared his experience, made suggestions to the director of the Institute V.M. Vlasovets.

About the statement of organizational structure of university for 2020/2021 academic year reported the first vice-rector M. Lysychenko. Regarding the improvement of the organizational structure, the members of the Academic Council made their proposals.

Summing up the work of the Academic Council, the Rector of the University O. Nanka summed up everything that happened at the meeting, thanked everyone for their fruitful work and drew attention to working more with the university website, its pages, timely posting, replacing and updating documentation./span>
