The XXI International Scientific Conference “Modern Problems of Agricultural Mechanics” has started at the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture. The conference is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of KNTUA, as well as the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous scientist-agrarian Petro Vasylenko, whose name the university bears.
The conference began with a plenary session, which was attended by Acting Rector of the University S. Zaika, Vice-Rector for Research V. Melnyk, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relations Yu. Vitkovskyi and the director of the Institute of Mechatronics and Management Systems V. Vlasovets. They congratulated the conference participants at the beginning of this event and wished them fruitful work.
Unfortunately, due to the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, the conference organizers were forced to abandon the traditional format and convert communication online. Nevertheless, the conference aroused great interest among scientists, and only about 100 people registered to participate in the plenary session.
After the plenary session, the conference will continue in sections.
