Today at the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture a meeting of the staff was held, which considered the following issues: 1) On summarizing the implementation of the Collective Agreement between the administration and the trade union organization of the university; 2) On making changes to the charter of the university by presenting it in a new edition, and 3) Miscellaneous.
As the chairman of the trade union committee of KhNTUA informed V. Kis, the meeting was attended by 168 delegates from all departments of the university. Other members of the staff had the opportunity to watch them online. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the student government of the university and the chairman of the regional trade union of agricultural workers M. Lavrinenko.
At the beginning of the meeting, the rector of the university O. Nanka congratulated everyone on the Day of Embroidery and wished his colleagues good health, well-being, and a peaceful sky. Then the rector informed about the situation that developed in connection with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 12.05. 2021 on the establishment of the State University of Biotechnology, which should be reorganized by 4 existing universities, including the Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture named after Petro Vasylenko.
According to the rector of KhNTUA and members of the administration, this order was adopted without careful preparation, so it created an extremely tense situation in the workforce of universities and caused a significant public response. The hasty and ill-considered reorganization of four national universities could negatively affect the admission campaign and the educational process itself. Given this situation, the administration of KhNTUA initiated an appeal to the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine to intervene in the situation of reforming these free economic zones of the Kharkiv region and to approach this process thoroughly and prudently, and possibly postpone the reorganization process. b for the period of the introductory campaign of 2021.
Draft appeals to the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine were submitted to the labor collective and unanimously supported by them. These appeals can be found here:

Currently, there is no debt on these items of expenditure.
