On February 21, 2020, the meeting of the Academic Council of KhNTUA approved the Regulations of the University Alumni Association , which will unite the efforts of University graduates of all generations and friends of the University to preserve and enhance its traditions and spiritual values. According to the Regulations, one of the main tasks of the Alumni Association will also be to assist in the implementation of educational, scientific, socio-economic, and production projects of the University, protection of legitimate social, economic, creative, and other interests of its members.
Informing the members of the Academic Council on this issue, the head of the Center for Practice, Employment and Careers of Student P. Syromyatnikov said that the University has a long tradition of cooperation with graduates, in particular, based on district fellowships. From now on, this work will be systemic and purposeful. And the rector of KhNTUSG OV Nanka reminded us that currently, the University employs about 300 graduates of our university, who can form the backbone of the Association and replenish its assets…
Following the consideration of this issue, the Academic Council of KhNTUSG instructed the heads of structural divisions of the University to promote the work of the Alumni Association and to propose candidates to the Board of the organization. The Academic Council also instructed Mykhailo Tsyganenko, Associate Professor of the UTS Department, to act as Secretary of the Association (contact 063-746-78-44).
