On May 12, 2021, the III All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Main Directions of Improving Accounting, Auditing and Taxation in the Conditions of European Integration” took place.
The grand opening of the conference began with a welcoming speech by the Deputy Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business and Management S. Kalinichenko with wishes of fruitful work and productive professional communication.
Head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing, Doctor of Science, Professor T. Marenych stressed the urgency of the issues under consideration and announced the purpose of the conference – exchange of information, experience, and research results on problematic issues of professional competencies in the training of economic professionals and the development of accounting, auditing, finance and taxation in European integration.
The head of the Department of Accounting and Taxation of the State Administration of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor I. Kryukova, Professor of the Department of Accounting and Economic Control of PSAU, Doctor of Economics, Professor K. Pylypenko, Head of the Department of Land Resources Management and Cadastre of KhNAU named after V.V. Dokuchaev, Doctor of Economics, Professor I. Koshkalda, Head of the Department of Economics and Marketing, KhNTUA, Doctor of Economics, Professor V. Onegina, Head of the Department of Agrologistics and Supply Chain Management, KhNTUA, Doctor of Economics, Professor T. Larina, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities of KhNTUA, Doctor of Economics, Professor R. Levkina and other teachers, students, graduate students, doctoral students of leading universities.
During the conference, participants presented their research in five sections in the following areas:
- Development of professional competencies in the training of economic specialists.
- The influence of modern trends in society on the organization and methods of accounting in Ukraine.
- Experience and prospects of audit development in the context of globalization and European integration processes.
- State tax policy and tax system in Ukraine in the context of European integration.
- Transformation of financial and credit relations in the context of European integration.
Interesting discussions were caused by reports with presentations by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Auditing KhNTUA S. Rudenko (Regional banks as a necessary tool to stimulate the socio-economic development of the regions of Ukraine), students of our university I. Romanashenko (Prospects for improving the financial reporting of domestic SMEs), N. Kryvych (Problems of creating paperless accounting), M. Romanashenko (Modern trends in the development of innovation and investment processes in Ukraine), Simplis Conan Quassi (Accounting profession in Côte d’Ivoire, its importance for the development of the country), etc. N. Kryvych and Simplis Conan Quassi presented the results of their research in English.
Based on the results of the conference, a collection of abstracts of participants of the event, which took place in a remote format, will be published.
