In 1976 he graduated from Kharkiv Automobile and Road Technical School with a degree in Car Maintenance and Repair.
In 1985 he graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture with a degree in Mechanization of Agriculture.
