The Ministry of Youth and Sports announces that it has started accepting applications for participation in the competition of projects within the framework of Ukrainian-Polish youth exchanges. The competition is open to educational institutions, non-profit organizations, including civil society institutions, and public utilities that work with young people. Organizations that apply to participate in the competition to the Ministry of Youth and Sports must have a partner organization from Poland and provide information about it when submitting documents.
Projects submitted to the competition must meet one of the following priorities:
- discovery of a common past and cultural heritage;
- supporting active citizenship and increasing the level of competence of young people for their participation and integration into public life, including through the promotion of entrepreneurship and volunteering;
- strengthening youth initiatives from the united territorial communities of Ukraine and rural areas and small towns of the Republic of Poland, taking into account the challenges of the modern world;
- deepening cooperation and exchange of experience between youth workers, youth centers, and youth organizations in the field of technical and sectoral education, taking into account the introduction of digital technologies;
- strengthening intercultural dialogue by creating conditions for openness and tolerance among young people.
Participants can choose the forms of the project: youth exchange, youth meetings (conferences, training, festivals, etc.), informational and educational projects (informational events, dissemination of best practices through publications, etc.). The package of documents for participation in the competition must contain an application, a detailed calculation of costs, copies of constituent documents, and a statement of the partner organization.
Acceptance of documents will last until 16:00 on August 16, 2021.
The documents must be submitted in printed form on the official forum of the organization to the address: Kyiv, st. Esplanade, 42 room 418, and in electronic form (kultmolodi@ukr.net). The decision on the winners of the competition will be made by the Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchange Council by September 15, 2021. The winning organizations must implement the projects by October 31, 2021.
