The department uses innovative approaches and methods of teaching foreign languages. The emphasis is shifted to the development of students’ communication skills in academic and professional communication. In order to improve these skills, optional classes in English, German and French are organized using interactive methods and modern technologies.
During classes, students use authentic audio and video material, which helps to better master the skills of speaking and listening and gives the opportunity to learn about the peculiarities of culture, traditions of a country.
An integral part of the life of the department is the weekly meetings of leading teachers of the department and foreign students with university students in the English Speaking Club, where each student has the opportunity to be part of a large English-speaking family.
