Hello, I’m Yurii Karpenko, 4th year of study at the Training and Research Institute of Electric Engineering and Computer Technologies at Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture. From 2017 to 2018 year, I worked on dairy farm in Denmark.
I was dairy technician on a farm with about 900 dairy cows and 900 heifers. It was a brand new farm, which I helped to start. I milked, fed, vaccinated and medicated cows, maintained the farm equipment such as milk coolers and tanks, rotary and pumps. I worked on two milking systems – parallel in the beginning and rotary in the end. Rotary had 50 places for cows and could operate 350 cows per hour. It was great experiences, that certainly help in my future life. My University gave me an opportunity and knowledge and I appreciated for this.
