Today marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of Peter V. Vasilenko (1900-1999), whose name is inscribed in golden letters in the history of domestic agricultural science and technology. Since May 2004, the Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture has been bearing this name, where the memory of P.M. Vasylenko and continues the best traditions of the scientific school created by him.
Today in the assembly hall of KhNTUA the solemn release of masters of 2020 took place. 146 graduates of the University from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business and Management received master’s degrees, who completed a full course of study and successfully defended their master’s theses in five specialties: 073 Management, 051 Economics, 071 Accounting and taxation”, 281“ Public administration”, and 075“ Marketing”. The festivities for the performance of the anthem of Ukraine began.
At the Department of Marketing and Media Communications, according to the schedule, the defense of qualification works for the degree of higher education “Master” in the specialty 075 “Marketing” took place.

On January 4, 2021, the educational and scientific institute of mechatronics and management systems hosted the grand opening of the courtroom (room 304) by the director of the institute Vitaliі Vlasovets and the head of the department of BZ and law Mykola Kirienko.
Today, in compliance with all quarantine recommendations, students of our university held a traditional Shrovetide holiday, which symbolizes the farewell of winter and the meeting of spring. In the courtyard of the university, they created an interesting photo area with a stuffed Shrovetide, as well as treated everyone to pancakes and various delicacies. Each educational and scientific institute and faculty of TSL prepared their culinary masterpieces and presentations for this holiday, which were evaluated by an authoritative jury of representatives of the administration. The celebration itself was accompanied by merry songs and dances, which gave everyone a good mood.
The beginning of 1931 for 2nd and 3rd-year students of the Kharkiv Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture began with an order on industrial practice, which they had to pass in MTS and repair shops of the Tractor Center. The Soviet government was preparing for the “second Bolshevik spring,” which was threatened with disruption, including due to a lack of technical personnel. Therefore, on the instructions of party bodies and the leadership of the Tractor Center, KhIMEA students were thrown to help Soviet farms.
On April 5, 2021, the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference of students and young scientists “Market Technologies and Business Analytics”, organized by the Department of Marketing and Media Communications of the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture, started at our university. The conference was co-organized by Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Council of Young Scientists at Kharkiv Regional State Administration, NGO “Association of Marketers of Ukraine”, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Technical University “Dnipro Polytechnic”, Sumy National Agrarian University, Poltava State Agrarian University, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, Hryhoriy Skovoroda University in Pereyaslav.

From April 1 to 9, on the basis of the Institute of Postgraduate Education, advanced training courses were held under the program “Methods for determining the quality of grain, legumes, and oilseeds.”
2nd-year students majoring in 242 “Tourism” KhNTUSG completed an internship in the discipline “Leisure Organization” and are currently defending reports. Moreover, during the internship, some students were able to implement their developments in specific activities. Thus, a student of the ZT19-9b group, Elizaveta Deyneko, conducted a quest “Twentieth Century in the History of the Belovodsk Region” with 7th-grade students of the Lyceum G1 of the village of Belovodsk.
At the Department of Economics and Marketing of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business and Management from 01.02 to 12.02. In 2021 there was a training (introductory) practice “Organization of the economic service of the enterprise” for students of the group EP20-bstn specialty 051 “Economics”. Meet Ezin Leslie Charmel – a student of our university, studying in the 1st year of the Institute of Mechatronics and Management Systems, majoring in “Agronomy”. Teachers describe her as a persistent and disciplined student, although it is not easy for her to learn because of the language barrier. In the distant African country of Côte d’Ivoire, where she came to Kharkiv (or rather – flew) to study Leslie, the majority of the population speaks French, and in Ukraine, in addition to subjects in the specialty, have to master two languages - English and Ukrainian. That’s why Leslie tries very hard.
April 30, 2021, was the II All-Ukrainian student scientific-practical conference ” Theory and practice of modern science through the eyes of young people who are already becoming traditional. The meeting was held online, which was previously set quarantine restrictions associated with the spread of the viral disease Covid-19. The conference was initiated by the Department of Agrology and Supply Chain Management of the Faculty of Technological Systems and Logistics. The conference was opened by the rector of the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture Nanka Alexander Vladimirovich. In his welcoming speech to the participants, he noted the exceptional role of creative youth in determining the trajectory of science. He stressed the urgency of creating communication platforms for students in the form of conferences. He expressed hope for the fruitful work of the conference participants, a constructive discussion on production, and solving current problems. Alexander Vladimirovich wished real good health and other benefits. The event was attended by over 100 participants, represented by the cities of Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Kropyvnytskyi, Vovchansky. The list of attendees included representatives of higher and special higher educational institutions, namely: Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical School of Agriculture, Polissya National University, Kharkiv National University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zhytomyr Agrotechnical College, Vovchansky Vocational College of Kharkiv NDU named after Василенко. The work of the conference covered the following areas: 1. Agrologistics and supply chain management. 2. Management. 3. Transport technologies and logistics. 4. Social and behavioral science. 5. Woodworking technologies and forest complex systems. The conference provided an opportunity for active talented young people to test their strengths in research and presentation of their achievements. It is worth noting the high theoretical and practical level of work, which offers additional painstaking work of supervisors.
