Today in the Admissions Committee of KhNTUA they met this year’s graduate of Balakliia Lyceum Anton Belevtsov and his mother Olena Anatoliivna. They came to the university to get advice on Anton’s admission to our institution, majoring in 208 Agricultural Engineering.
Students of our university, studying in the specialty 201 Agronomy, under the guidance of a senior lecturer, candidate a.s. Sciences V. Bondarenko had a great opportunity to get acquainted with the latest developments in agricultural science in the field of crop production and seed production. Today they took part in the Field Day, which took place on the basis of THE PLANT PRODUCTION INSTITUTE named after V.YA. YURIEV NAAS of Ukraine, and at the demonstration site inspected promising varieties and hybrids of cereals and got acquainted with the latest plant protection technologies.
On the eve of the Youth Day in the Novobavarsky district of Kharkiv, the winners and laureates of the district stage of the city competition “Young Man of the Year” were awarded. This title is awarded for significant achievements in various spheres of public life and was fought for by young people aged 14 to 35 who live, study, and work in the Novobavarsky district of Kharkiv.
And wherever fate threw the graduates of our university! For example, Mykola Fedchuk (a graduate of KhIMEA in 1971) after graduating from the Faculty of Mechanization was sent to work at the Odessa Research Institute of Agricultural Engineering and then went to Chukotka.
The last week of spring was marked by an important event for the agro-technical community, namely – the defense of theses by higher education students under the educational and scientific program “Agroengineering” specialty 208 Agroengineering.
Students of the Department of Life Safety and Law took part in the final stage of the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers. On April 20, 2021, based on the National University of Water Management and Nature Management the final stage of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the specialty “Environmental Protection Technologies” took place. The competition commission considered 91 student research papers received from 34 higher education institutions of Ukraine of III-IV levels of accreditation.

The rapid climate change that is taking place today requires agribusiness to make precise, balanced decisions. Optimal management for each square meter of field is not the future, but a requirement of time. Such management is successfully implemented by precision farming technologies. To date, there are comprehensive solutions from our partners – representatives of John Deere and Case IH. Students in the educational programs of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mechatronics and Management Systems are already studying them in classes and workshops conducted by representatives of leading companies in the industry. But there are a number of small and medium-sized farms, agricultural enterprises that use a wide range of different brands of units. For such farms, the equipment from the world leader in systems of exact agriculture – the Trimble company is most often used.
Recently, the monograph “Current state and prospects for the development of administrative and legal regulation in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine” was published, prepared by Ph.D., Seniour Lecturer of the Department of Life Safety and Law G. Ivanov.
Industrial practice is an integral part of the process of training specialists in the specialty 081 “Law” at the Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture. It focuses on students’ independent knowledge of legal processes and legal phenomena, as well as provides a close link between the theoretical training of future lawyers and their practical professional development. During the internship, students not only consolidate and deepen the theoretical knowledge gained in the study of general and special legal disciplines but also acquire skills and abilities of law enforcement.
The Department of Media Communications and the Department of Organization of Educational Work of Students remind us that currently, our university is holding a competition for the best student video-presentation about the multifaceted life of our university and its educational and scientific departments. The organizing committee of the competition has already received several interesting works that will take part in the competition. Therefore, we invite other students and student groups to participate in this creative competition and we remind you that one person or creative group can submit only one work to the competition.
