Recently, a traditional international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in memory of Yevhen Trukhin took place in the ZAS Sports Palace (Zaporizhzhya). Wrestlers from all over Ukraine and the Polish team competed. Students of our university became winners and prize-winners of these competitions.
Mykhailo Vyshnevetstskyi – I place, weight category 130 kg (ESI MMS),
Illia Borysov – I place, weight category 82 kg (ESI MMS),
Murad Zaidze– III place, weight category 67 kg (ESI MMS).
We also inform you that on February 10 in Cherkasy the Cup of Ukraine in Greco-Roman wrestling among men, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the famous Ukrainian hero Ivan Piddubny, ended. Students of our university also took part in these competitions and became winners and prize-winners of the Cup.
